Itinerary and Photo Gallery

Saturday 

9.45 AM

We meet and greet over coffee and home-made biscuits.
River Windrush and terrace, the Mill and Old Swan
 
John and Bobby enjoying a moment with a couple of guests

10 am until 10.15 am

We go to the Old Barn where Bobby and John complete the introductions and outline the weekend.

Guests will be divided into two groups.
 
10.15 am until 11.30am

This is where the fun starts as Bobby takes group (A) for individual material construction.  

John takes group (b) for Stagecraft Part 1, dealing with professional "tricks of the trade".

 
11.30am until 11.45am

All meet for coffee
The Granary room
 
11.45am until 1.pm We change groups
 
The Swan Dining Room
1 pm until 2pm

Lunch together in the Swan room
 
2.pm until 3.30pm Group (B) rejoin John for Stagecraft part 2, more professional secrets revealed, dealing with Physical Control and Comedy Techniques. Group (A) join Bobby for further development and delivery
 
3.30pm until 3.45pm

All meet for tea and biscuits
The terrace on the River Windrush
 
3.45 until 5pm We change groups
 
The croquet lawn
5 until 7 pm

Leisure and use of hotel facilities - have a workout in the the gym, or if the sun's shining have a game of croquet, or go for a stroll down the river Windrush. Visit the romantic ruins of the Minster - a 5 minute walk away through the beautiful village of Minster Lovell
 
7.pm until 7.30pm 

Meet in the bar for pre dinner drinks
Guests enjoying a drink in the bar.
 
The gym

Dinner together in the Swan room. During the meal, names are drawn out of a hat to decide the running order for tomorrow's show.

10 am until 11.30am 

Today's the day!
Group (A) join Bobby for final polishing and dress rehearsal, and group (B) are with John for Voice and Relaxation.

11.30am until 11.45am We all meet for coffee
 
11.45 until 1pm We change groups
 
The Mill stream
1pm until 2pm

Lunch together in the Swan room
 
Enjoying performances.
2pm until 4pm (approx)

Take a deep breath - it's showtime! -  hosted by Bobby. The show is recorded and you will be sent a DVD as a permanent reminder that you Had a go at...Stand-up Comedy.
 
4 pm (approx) Group photo, and it's all over.
